It seems that Massachusetts moderate Mitt Romney once again has found southern hospitality to be greatly lacking toward him at the ballot box. Meanwhile, Rick Santorum finds himself sweeping across the south in landslide victory fashion.
Louisiana is the latest southern state to embrace Santorum, while utterly rejecting Romney. In Tennessee, Santorum won by nearly 10% over Romney. In Alabama and Mississippi Santorum pulled an upset sweep in both states despite every poll placing him in 3rd place; yet in the end it was Santorum who cleanly took both states, while Romney finished 3rd.
But tonight it was the Bayou State whose electorate sent an unmistakable message that the blue states will not dictate who they will have as their nominee. Santorum won every parish in the state except for Orleans Parish, 63 of 64
