Here is a letter that I sent to Our MA Congressmen & Senators. What do you think? Got no feedback other a boiler plate letter

Dear Congressmen and Senators,

Here are some things that I don’t hear from either party when talking about the economic problems in our country. We keep saying that we all have to sacrifice however I only see the American people having to make these sacrifices. Why aren’t we talking about taking care of this country first then divide up what is left over for the rest of the worlds problems?

Federal debt solution ideas

  1. All government contracts to be given to US companies and carried out on US Soil. This will create jobs and increase tax revenue.

  1. Stop sending our Tax dollars over seas. We are broke and can’t keep taking from our own to provide minimum help to countries that can’t and won’t help their own. We can not save the world if our home is falling apart.

  1. All welfare and disabilities benefactors are to be drug tested before and several times throughout the year. If you pop positive, you are off benefits. The working, taxpaying citizen has to do this in-order to work or collect comps due to injuries.

  1. Limit the time on welfare. This should not be your career. Having more children does not make you my or the countries problem. Go out and get a job. (there needs to be exceptions like being physically or mentally handicapped)

  1. Get things like Social Security out of the general fund. We would have been all set if your predecessors didn’t play with this in the first place.

  1. Let all government employees starting with the highest office pay 50% of their healthcare and other benefits. No more benefits for life and no more pensions. Why should a Congressman or Senator get benefits for life?

  1. Get rid of prevailing wage on government contracts. It is absurd that the government (tax payer) should pay more for services that can be done for less.

  1. Government building should be designed to do a job and not be built to look good and be comfortable. Why should a new courthouse be built with materials such as marble, granite, mahogany, etc.  This could save millions per project.

  1. Stop over regulating us. You have no problem buying thing made in other countries with little regulations. We have protections here and we need to start using common sense and not keep adding cost. Maybe you should try getting real people that perform the task to review and put pros and cons before putting out an unmanageable rule that changes 1000 times adding cost that gets passed on to the consumer.

  1. Stop paying for illegal immigrants that come here and don’t pay into our tax system. I have no problem with people coming here to provide themselves with a better life however you need follow our rules and speak our language.

  1. Make it law that we have a true balanced budget

You should all be ashamed of your actions. Very few of you are looking out for our country’s best interest; you’d rather put your own political views and interests first. Keep in mind this does not end just because you strike a deal and raise the debt ceiling. The goal should be to eliminate our debt and to become the bank.

Please share this with all of your counterparts.

Sincerely,

Douglas R Furrh

The response has been so wonderful that there is now a 3rd bus added. This bus is $60.00 for round trip. We just need names to reserve your seat. Again they are going fast. Remember this caravan leaves from W. Springfield, MA 8/27/10 at midnight. Arrives in DC at 8 am. Leaves DC at 4 pm and arrives back in W. Springfield, MA at approximately midnight 8/29/10. These are express trips in buses that have a/c, restrooms and dvd players.

Please join us!!!

I've got a question. I have been asked several times to marry an illegal for money so that they can be legalized, how would I go about turning them into the aurthorities so they can be deported?

I am honored to be a member of the MA organization. I originally joined Arizona in support of the causes of illegal immigration.

Please be advised that several other major tea party organizations have begun a boycott of Proctor & Gamble products due to the "ugly treatment" of two Tea Party activists on the Chris Matthews show on MSNBC. Chris derided the movement and the members right to their faces. Such insults of American patriots deserves a harsh response. P&G is a major sponsor of this program...Boycott all P&G products, support your fellow Tea Party members. This is the peaceful way to hurt them...in the wallet.
