It is the same all over I am beginning to think Darla, Knoxville used to be a safe city too now I have a carry permit and I dont leave my house without my firearm! My wife used to fuss at me for carrying it all the time and now she asks me if I have it with me before we leave! There have been a lot of home invasions here recently and most have met the homeowner with his own gun and got the raw end of the deal! But it just isnt Tn it is all over! What a shame a person works all their lives for what they have and someone steals it from them!

I can say by experience that Bill Haslam does support the second amendment! Back last summer when the Right to carry permit holders were involved in a city council amendment to be able to carry in city parks, I was involved in emailing all of city council on this issue! I received an email from Mayor Haslam and he assured me that he was in favor of the second amendment and would do everything he could to make sure this amendment was passed and it was!
