Connect with The Tea Party!

While not a member of the Tea Party, I like some of its conservative values. I am a conservative, but I am also a moderate, depending on the subject. I think it is important to focus as much on local politics as on the national level. For example: The Collin County District Clerk's office here in Texas is the subject of considerable scandal, with the winner of the Spring primary for that position under indictment. I have taken action in this matter as a force of one by entering my name on the ballot for that office. I believe the District Clerk's office should be a conservative one, with old-fashioned integrity and straight arrow operation. As the founder of several past corporations that employed hundreds of people, I can manage the staff of just 65 people in that office. I definitely want it to reflect conservative values and make sure it serves its full
potential to the public.

I attended the Collin County Kangaroo Court Style meeting Monday of this week. Were you there? WHAT A JOKE!!!!!! Are you sure you want to be a part of such corruption? However, you seem to be the man we would want to have in ANY postion. I wish you well!
I don't live in Collin Co but have followed some of their antics. I wish you well. It seems it is easy to be corrupt these days, just too easy...Eddie B Johnson is a prime example! She acts like she did absolutely NO WRONG! I am just in awe of how blaze' she is about all this. I think the Tea Party, if nothing else, needs to really focus on those corruptions and hold feet to the fire. Personally, I think anyone we endorse should have to sign a contract before being endorsed that their actions MUST mirror their words or else....not sure what our leverage can be, but surely something.
Thank you, Thomas Ann Hines for your view. I hope to put deeds to my words with support from people such as yourself.
Well, I suppose we that are members would like for you to join just to show which side you are on ~ this is not the time to be wishy-washy and afraid to stand for what you / we believe...just my personal belief but I've been on the plantet for a while and know that it is important for people to believe and trust you. Whatever ~ still wishing you the best. TAnn
Let"s be totally honest. I am not a member of the Tea Party but, as I have said, I share some of its values. There is no ambiance or hypocrisy in not joining. Rather, I do not wholeheartedly embrace all of its goals or methods. Where our values coincide I am certainly totally supportive. Where our values are not in juxtaposition, my integrity requires that I so admit it openly. We agree on some things and disagree on others. I don't want to assume membership in some false guise. I know my statement is not that of a professional politician; instead I prefer to be forthright. That relieves me from the pressures professional politicians have to suffer when they are selling their souls.
When did the teabook become a SOAP BOX... If your so into change, why are you not a TEAPARTY Member??? Just thought I might state the obvious...CJ
As a guest on your website I have attempted to make clear my motives and the main purpose of contact. The office of
Collin County District Clerk is currently in trouble. I simply proposed that a substantial change be made in its leadership. Whether you vote for me or someone else for District Clerk this coming November I certainly hope your choice will provide the necessary impetus to put that office back on the high road of ethics and efficiency. I thank you for your attention, and I shall not intrude on your hospitality again.
Thank You! CJ
