Sara Palin wrote in a Washington Post op-ed today that President Obama should boycott the United Nations summit on global warming in Copenhagen because the issue has become politicized. On her Facebook she made a post calling climate science “junk science and doomsday scare tactics.”

How We Got Here

First I would like to put several stakes in the ground. First stake, we are a country of consumers, if we do not consume, we will wither and die. We are a capitalist country. That is, we have a system that was primarily designed to allow a family to generate income from their work.
