Political Suicide: Democrats Outshine Republicans Again

You know, I thought the rules change vote debacle at the Republican Party convention in Tampa, Florida could not be topped for arrogance by the establishment elitists but I was wrong.  The Democrats managed to top that raw example of tyranny and “in your face” arrogance toward We the People at their convention in Charlotte, North Carolina last week.  The Democrat establishment managed to actually outdo Joe Biden when it comes to “acting stupidly”.  Can you believe someone actually…

2012: The Year Of The Hand of God In America

As we start a new year some thoughts come to me from something my pastor’s wife said Sunday morning, January 1, 2012.  She recently did a study on the number 12 and its significance in Scripture.  It reminded me of the deep importance of God in the development of our nation and the importance of God in the coming year.  This is what she said

Oklahoma’s Republican Party: How Do We Stop The Corruption?

I have been actively involved in the political spectrum for about 3 years now.  Thirty-five years ago I tried to get involved but when I saw how corrupt and self-serving the process was I gave up.  I registered as an Independent with the hopes that being an Independent would insulate me from the corruption, self-serving politicians, and the evil that pervades both parties.  I was sadly mistaken.  In that 35 years nothing has improved.  Now, 35 years later, I find our…

Hey Barack: What is One’s “Fair Share”?

I have heard Barack Obama’s latest campaign tactic and it set me to thinking.  Obama is going to give up the hope and change tact and run on the premise that rich people aren’t paying their “fair share” of taxes.  That brings me to some interesting questions.  How much is one’s “fair share”?  How much is my “fair share”?  Am I paying my “fair share”, and my “fair share” of what?  Who determines what a person’s “fair share” is?  Who is already paying their “fair share” and who is…

Rep. Issa: Fast and Furious Just A “Dumb Program”

In a Washington Times article (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/dec/2/issa-says-holder-ouster-white-house/  ) on Friday December 2, 2011, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Ca) stated that Eric Holder did not order Operation Fast & Furious/Gunrunner.  Issa declares that:

Media Bias and Cover-up

Why are the main stream media, and even “conservative” media, ignoring the story about John Dummett and the Liberty Legal Foundation in their suit against the Democrat Party over the certification of Barack Obama as an eligible presidential candidate?  Why are we, instead, talking about the latest “bimbo eruption” that seems to have no real basis in fact?

John Dummett: The "Hidalgo" of 2012

John Dummett: The “Hidalgo” of 2012

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to watch the movie “Hidalgo” on television for the 3rd or 4th time.  The movie is set in Saudi Arabia sometime in the early 1900’s, not sure exactly when but in that neighborhood.  The story is about a horse race pitting a man and his horse against others in one of the most inhospitable deserts in the world.   The event is a race, man and…

Is Compromise the Way to Victory in 2012?

Is Compromise the Way To Victory in 2012?

As I have been listening to and reading ideas and opinions about the 2012 Republican Presidential primary vote I have found some disturbing thoughts on how to go about removing the biggest danger to liberty who has ever sat in the White House.  I have different thoughts than many others.  My concerns here are with the Republican Party machine as a whole and that the need to make changes in the leadership…
