I have been actively involved in the political spectrum for about 3 years now. Thirty-five years ago I tried to get involved but when I saw how corrupt and self-serving the process was I gave up. I registered as an Independent with the hopes that being an Independent would insulate me from the corruption, self-serving politicians, and the evil that pervades both parties. I was sadly mistaken. In that 35 years nothing has improved. Now, 35 years later, I find our…Continue
I can't imagine how anyone in America today can't see what is going on, can’t see what is happening to their freedom. Sadly, too many people don't want to see what is happening, but ignoring the problem won't make it go away. Not only will the problem not go away, it will fester and get worse like a wound that doesn't get washed, medicated, and bandaged.
The festering wound that too many people don't want to see is the government, both political parties. This wound…Continue
Sen. Coburn, Sen. Inhofe, Rep. Boren, December 10, 2011
I am writing about the National Defense Authorization Act (S. 1867/H. R. 1540). This legislation authorizes the President of the United States to order the military to arrest and detain American citizens for “suspected” terrorist activities or sympathies. It also provides for indefinite detention, at sites either inside or outside of the United States, without charges being…Continue

A few days ago I heard a little snippet on the radio about John Bon Jovi receiving farm subsidies from the federal government. I was busy writing another article so I jotted down a note to remind me to look into this. Frankly, when I heard the report I was both shocked and skeptical at the same time. I thought, “Surely multi-millionaire performers aren’t being paid farm subsidies with my tax money”. I had just heard Barack Obama talk about rich people paying their “fair share of taxes”. …Continue

I have heard Barack Obama’s latest campaign tactic and it set me to thinking. Obama is going to give up the hope and change tact and run on the premise that rich people aren’t paying their “fair share” of taxes. That brings me to some interesting questions. How much is one’s “fair share”? How much is my “fair share”? Am I paying my “fair share”, and my “fair share” of what? Who determines what a person’s “fair share” is? Who is already paying their “fair share” and who is…Continue

In a Washington Times article (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/dec/2/issa-says-holder-ouster-white-house/ ) on Friday December 2, 2011, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Ca) stated that Eric Holder did not order Operation Fast & Furious/Gunrunner. Issa declares that:

Why are the main stream media, and even “conservative” media, ignoring the story about John Dummett and the Liberty Legal Foundation in their suit against the Democrat Party over the certification of Barack Obama as an eligible presidential candidate? Why are we, instead, talking about the latest “bimbo eruption” that seems to have no real basis in fact?

I keep hearing that Congress’s Super Committee has failed due to the fact they could not agree on the “spending cuts” and “revenue enhancements” they were “supposed” to make. The sinister truth of this unconstitutional committee is that the perceived failure is actually a successful conclusion. You see, the whole idea at the outset was for failure. The goal of both parties from the outset was for this venture to fail so both parties could go back to business as usual. It was nothing but…Continue

I have recently come across some information about the situation in Ivory Coast, West Africa that once again points out the fallacy in today’s news media. I had heard media reports about the civil war there, what reports there were, but certainly did not hear the truth. We were told that election fraud took place and that the man who won the presidential race there did so by nefarious means. Let me relate the truth to you. I cannot identify my source as this person…Continue
