American Values
The real choice for us in 2012 Election is to for Liberalism and their agenda or for Conservatism and uphold the values we inherited from the Founding Fathers.

Dennis Prager noticed that the "left" often say they are offended when someone disagrees with them. On the other hand, a conservative response to disagreement is based on what's right and moral. Rarely do they say they are offended but they may be appalled by blatant falsehood and the audacity of making such a claim. I find these contrasting views very interesting.
What It Means to Be an American
I wholly agree with Mr. Prager when he said, "I believe the greatest threat facing America, and I believed this my entire adult life, is that we have not passed on what it means to be an American to this generation. ... He said that society will not survive if it does not have a reason to survive...where there is a 'why' there's a 'how'.
Americans have lost their 'why'. The greatest generation has not taught the next generation about "what Americanism is."
We used to understand the value of "In God We Trust" -- it's uniquely American, not European -- and we understood what America stands for: "equality at birth but not in result".
- In America, result is based on work and the pursuit of happiness.
- Free Enterprise and Capitalism rewards according to the opportunity and the work ethics of an individual.
- This philosophy is what made America wealthy
- Values based on God is what made us powerful.

Although this video was made in 2010, the comment Prager makes about the "liberal left" having different values than America was founded on and that "this election is a referendum" still applies to the 2012 election. It is extremely important we gain more control over the Senate so they cannot kill laws the House sends them that they don't like.

Thanks for your comment Bob. I agree that Harry Reid is the problem in Congress. He was re-elected by cheating so people people could not remove him from Office--the same is true with the other old-time liberals. All the misconduct and cheating claims brought to the authorities were never prosecuted and so his re-election stood. Liberals win at any cost, even if they have to lie and cheat to get it. It makes me sick that we live under this type of government right now. However, the main point I wanted to express with this article is that we have neglected to pass on to younger generations, the exceptionalism and patriotism of our nation and our flag. I think it is vital that we commit to telling our children and grandchildren about patriotism and why we must protect and preserve our form of government (Republic Democracy).
