Willie, I give up. You only quote those parts that seem to agree with your sick outlook. God raises up leaders, or did you miss that part. If I do get elected to this postioin it won't be for the money because there isn't any, it is an unpaid position. I would be doing so to preserve the Christian basis of our country and our education system, both of which are sadly lacking because Christians don't do their duty to God and country by standing up for His word in this world. You are the servant from the parable who went and buried his talant in order to not lose it. I am one who will invest my God given talent to further His work in the here and now. I have no intention of conforming to the world but to conform the world to God's plan, or at least try to, rather than stick my head in the sand and hope for the best. I offer solutions, you offer misinterpretations of God's word.

Bob, Thank for your patience. There is ,of course, at least two options. One is to surrender to this worldly system and become part and partake of it as you would be doing by voting or running for pubic office.Matthew 6:24 New International Version (NIV)   ²⁴ “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." Gods word forbids man to take part in wordily affairs because his Kingdom is not of this world.

The other option is to (Rom 12:1-2)¹ Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. ² Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

My point is that there is no solution only a choice. Chose one or the other depending on ones needs and courage. I will not advise one or the other, it is to each his own.  

Myself, to chose either serving  God or man I will serve God. I feel you also will chose to serve God. Do you have an understanding what the ramifications of this choice are? 

I will read the bible again, for the third time in my life, and pray that I gain even more understanding. Will you read it aong with me?

My criticism wasn't meant to be mean or destructive. I try to criticize for constructive purposes. I too am tired of this so let us put it to rest.

Willie, I will try one more time and then give up on you if this doesn't do it. We can serve God by preserving what He established. If your answer is to surrender to evil then you haven't read your bible very clearly. You still haven't presented any ideas to solve the problems. You seem to be happy to criticize my solutions without offering any of your own. If all you can do is be critical then you aren't serving God or man.

Bob, the reason why I am with you on this issue is because we can listen to all kinds of "answer all" rhetorical solutions and ideas..............when in reality we need to be informed about every single piece of legislation that is supporting a left wing Agenda that belong to Obama. We need to research how every one of our  elected officals vote, compare it what they told us to get elected, and know if they are supporting us or not, and then work to support them more or get rid of them. Its a process all of us have at our disposal, and it takes work, not just espousing ideas for solutions. The solution starts with who we vote for, who represents us.

Well Bob, I learned that quote, " The festering wound I refer to is the tyranny being implemented now and planned for the future by the government, and the apathy of all too many citizens. " and " The washing needed here is prayer; the disinfectant needed is knowledge of the real issues. "  The following is the solution quote, " Cleaning and disinfecting the wound doesn’t accomplish much if that is all we do. Next we must medicate and bandage the wound by standing up and volunteering to serve our communities. At the local level get involved by running for school board seats, city councils, county government, etc. Some can get more involved at the state level. Run for office if you can at any level of government. So far we still have government Of the People, By the People, and For the People. It is up to us to keep it that way." .

The section in the preceding paragraph , that I underlined, gives the article referred to it's inherent weakness. In so much,as most will agree,  is false, then the solution cannot be true.

A better idea is to understand the book of Revelations and you will understand that a servant cannot serve two masters.

Willie, either you didn't read the entire article or you didn't understand it. It up to We the People to be more informed, more involved, and more courageous. Others seemed to understand it just fine. I thought I defined the problems and then gave solutions to the problems.  Prayer is part of the solution, not some "holistic" approach. If you have a better idea then spit it out instead of criticizing.

The article fails to address any real solution. The cure suggested is holistic and gives a false sense of of power. Most of know in our heart of hearts that the real solution is paramount to a death warrant.

Ind 1000 & Joe, thank you for taking time to read and understand the issue here. My goal in writing the thinks I do is to reach the majority with the importance of TODAY.  We can't wait any longer, and it may already be too late but I am not ready to concede that yet. I have filed for a school board position to try and make a difference at that level. It is imperative that we get people to understand the danger. As far as comon sense goes that is true. This isn't rocket science and I fail to understand how people can't see what is happening. I believe that most don't want to know, as I stated, the "ignore it and it will go away" syndrome.

You are totally correct that both parties are to blame and therefore there should be "No Parties" just people running on their word or we vote them out.

That is only problem number one though because another even more deadly party to the middle and lower class Americans is the "big money/lobbyists" party.

I know I'm ready but history will show you over and over again that the majority won't be ready until it is way too late.

This is where the focus needs to be.  How do we reach the majority and gear them up enough to make "real, necessary change" happen sooner rather than later.

Bob, I hope those that read your comment and the rest of the article at the link you posted, truly understand the importance TODAY, more than in many other elections, to do exactly what the article suggests. Many of the problems we have today, started with elected and appointed officials at the lower levels of our various Governments, State, County, City, Village, etc. The damage that is being done to this Nation is happening at all levels, and often, we are aware of it, but just don't think we can do something about it. That better change, and change in a massive way.

Great article, and a lot of just plain common sense.
