I Never Thought I Would Say This: Boycott Glenn Beck Now!
Dear Patriot Tea Partiers,
Did you know that as a Tea Party member that if you support Newt Gingrich and not Obama then you are a racist!
That's right, A RACIST!... or so says Glenn Beck in this angry interview with fellow Gingrich Basher Judge Andrew Napol...
“If you have a big government progressive (meaning Newt for some reason?), or a big government progressive in Obama… ask yourself this, Tea Party: is it about Obama’s race? Because that’s what it appears to be to me. If you’re against him but you’re for this guy, it must be about race. I mean, what else is it," says Beck.
It must be about race? Really Glenn? You can think what you want about Newt and I won't question your motivations or allegiances (though there is plenty of room to) but to say "what else is it?" Really?
Millions of possible reasons someone might like Gingrich and not like Obama but he can only think of one...we're racists? And why did he call us in the Tea Party out specifically?
Glenn, can that brilliant mind of yours not think of one other distinction between the radical Saul Alinsky indoctrinated community organizer Barack Hussein Obama and the author of two "Contracts with America" and one of the historic thought leaders of the Republican Party in Newt Gingrich other than their race.
Pot, meet Kettle. Oops, did I make an allusion to something calling something else..... black? Will you now use that as proof of my racism and by association everyone in the Tea Party?
Glenn, you are way smarter than this? What is your agenda here?
I think I speak for all of us in the Tea Party (whether we are supporters of Newt Gingrich or not) when we say that we will not stand for anyone, even someone who we thought was so close to us, to imply that we are racists or demonize us in any way for believing in and supporting who we choose just because we may not agree with him.
Last I checked we were all free to make up our own mind on the issues and who we support. And we have the right to disagree, even if it is with the Great Sage Glenn Beck, without being demonized.
I for one will now put Beck in the class of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and other rich, establishment scumbags who play the race card without regard for truth when they don't get their way... or in order to get it.
Remember, Glenn isn't stupid, he knows what he's doing. The question is what is he trying to accomplish? Hopefully it is just a naive plot to shame us into bending to his will and voting for who he wants and he just drastically underestimates who we are. Hopefully it isn't something less obvious and more sinister.
At any rate, we must make our voice known that we will not stand for intimidation, demonization and lies from anyone, especially those claiming to be our own.
Please, join me in cancelling your subscription to GBTV, stopping the purchase of his books, stopping the support of theblaze.com advertisers and cutting off support of Glenn Beck in any endeavor until he comes to Teabook and apologizes personally to us and every member of the Tea Party.
Also, forward this to all of your friends as well to spread the word that the Tea Party is stronger than ever, and we will not be manipulated by the media, especially the ones we have come to like and support because we thought they were on our side.
Remember, discovering the truth is often painful but our measure is how we respond to harsh realities. The harsher the truth the stronger and more united we will become.

P.S. Glenn Beck, as we are a forgiving people, we will accept your apology if it is sincere and you do it publicly. I will be happy to come on the air as a representative of the Tea Party to hear your apology and make amends. Until that day, pound sand!

I want to try and clarify my earlier statement. IMHO now is not the time to compromise on who everyone believes can beat obama. Now is the time to support the one whose values come closest to our own. We proved the media and experts wrong once we can do it again. If we buy into what they are telling us they have won before we even get to a republican canidate.

No James I do not want Obama back in office nor do I want Obama light in office. Obama isn't stupid he is doing exactly what he has set out to do. He was raised to hate everything this country stands for and if the American people actually listened he would never have been elected in the first place. Growing up I've listened to my dad complain about the direction this country was going and as an adult I watched this country slowly become more socialist. Only thing Obama did was put it in overdrive. If you think putting another progressive into office is going to turn this country around you are sadly mistaken. This could be our last chance to put this country back on track and all I hear is we have to to vote for someone who can beat Obama. Well who exactly is that? If you listen to the media and the so called experts only Romney can beat him. Well they also said that we couldn't put so many Tea party republicans into office in 2010 yet did. We took the majority in the house and came close to doing the same in the senate. So this time we are going to be sheep pretending to be wolves? Well, If we are then we deserve exactly what we get. I for one am not going to tell my grandchildren that the reason the United States fell was because I settled for who I was told could beat Obama. I'll be able to tell them that I did everything I could but too many Americans chose to settle once again.

I'd just like to point out that the Cowboys stadium is in Arlington not Dallas. I wish it was still in Dallas county. I live about two miles from the darn thing and traffic sucks on Collins whenever there is an event there.

Jose, you can still watch Glen Beck on TV. I bought a ROKU and pay 9.98 a month to watch Glenn's program. With the ROKU I can watch him on TV just like I use to. I believe one reason Glenn left Fox News was because they limited what he could say. Now with his own TV station he can say whatever he wants. He also has a radio station he is on. Also, he is going to have a restoring love seminar next year in the Dallas Stadium in Dallas, Tx. Glenn is still fighting to restore America. James, what do you think Obama is doing? He is deliberately trying to cause an ecomomic collapse. He wants to end our government and the constitution so he we can have the socialist uptopia that progressive invision. Read rules for radicals. Everything he has done has come out of that book.The current front runners are anything but conservatives. At best if either one becomes president all we will have done is slow down the pace of the destruction of our way of life. We don't have to have a concervative that we totally agree with but we have to have a true conservative. Not these progressives in conservative clothing. A conservative believes in limited government and the constitution as it was meant at the time of framing not the liberal interpretation.

What is all this talk about Gingrich being big government? I challenge any of you to go to newt.org or newtgingrich360.com and read the 21st Century Contract with America and tell me what big government programs he's suggesting. He wants to dismantle most of the federal government, return most power to the states, give private social security accounts, provide a flat tax option of only 15% and so much more... Romney wants to use the current tax code to give favor to those under $200K per year. He's not a change candidate like Newt. Again, I'm not trying to talk anyone into voting for anyone but I do want to set the record straight as to what is being proposed.

Beverly there were only two I liked. One they slandered so much he esentually dropped from the race and the other is so far behind that only a major miracle could bring her back up. West isn't running but I'd sure like to see him run in 2016 as long as he sticks to principles. And James, Romney is not a conservative just look at his record. We need a true conservative in 2012 or there may not be a country left by 2016. I'm tired of hearing from the media both left and right that we need someone that is electable. To me that just means that they want someone that leans left just not as left as Obama. It's going to take someone that is a true conservative ans a conservative majority in both houses to straighten this country out before it is gone forever. I am done settling for the lesser of two evils. If the Tea Party members are willing to settle then why am I wasting my time learning what is really going on this country and the world and alienating family, friends and others trying to wake them up. If that is what we are going to do then I am going back to my life and back to sleep because this country is done!
