Obama Quotes Scripture?? Beware!!
Mr Obama, Shame on you!! SHAME on you. You take a quote from the bible completely out of context (like this is something new from your office). The verse you paraphrased was Luke 12:48 "But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Using only Everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded... Completely out of context and a lie.
The verse prior: Luke 12:47 " That servant who knows his master's will and doesn't not get ready or does not no what his master wants will be beaten with many blows." The whole context of Jesus' meaning behind this statement can be found in Luke 12 35-48 and he is warning about preparing our self for His coming. It has NOTHING to do with a taxation policy of a corrupted government.
When Jesus talked about taxes it was only in reply to a trap by the Pharisees whom sought only to protect their own status or self imposed Law saying it was of God, (sound like anyone we know??)... Matt 22:21 "Ceasar's they replied. Then he (Jesus) said to them, "Give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's, and to God what is God's" Meaning, don't confuse the two, As the made Laws of man and claim them to be of God.
Therefore Mr Obama, let me offer you some scripture in the proper context...Luke 6:43-45 "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each Tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
This was the second attempt from your office to quote scripture in the last 30 days, and on both accounts, it was either completely wrong or a complete lie. Only you know the motive.
However, even if we went with your translation... What about the second part of the verse which you left out... "and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Meaning accountable... American's I believe would all pay higher taxes, to rid the country of the debt, if Washington would only be a good steward of the money and be accountable with it. But even out of your own lie you can not be honest.
Many will be fooled in the last days...

Bob, You are very correct, and if I understand it correctly, he nor his council reported for his court date in Georgia, Just completely decided he was above the law and not accountable. I was going to go further on my post but, I choice to limit my remarks to his comments at the prayer breakfast. It is Clear he is Muslim, and he has an alliance to the Muslin States.
I try to not judge, but, I also try not to be blind, but honestly, until we as a nation return to state of mind that values matter, Honesty and truth as well as the character of a man, we will never be the Great Nation America once was. Like it or Not this country was found on a principle of God. And God has blessed this nation, but how long will he?
I know many want to reject the notion, but, God is the only chance this country has. A nation that will pray for his protection and direction, and Men who will trust and serve him, then the people, not them self or the money of other people. The system does not give us the person who would be best for the country, but the best for their party.
Honestly, I would vote for an honest democrat, However, Both parties have been hijacked to special interest. It is a shame, and we allow it. Our media is propaganda, all of them, each serving their own interest instead of fact, Each party serving the money that feeds it.
So, where does that leave us? As for me, I will not be a subject to any worldly man. I will find my faith and strength in God and not of this world nor the men (and Women) who run it.
I stop short of saying Mr Obama is something or someone the Bible tell about in the last book, For I do not believe he is, But he is certainly a friend of it. Personally I believe our great county is beyond hope, at least of and by man. We must stay the course and rebel against the lies as physical beings, and we must prepare our spiritual beings for what God's Word tells us will be the outcome of the world and man kind.

Really Willie, Is that all you got from my post? Really?? Well, Let me first say, I am not complaining... Not at all... I am talking about the lies that come out of almost all people holding or running for office, and we set buy and do not hold them accountable.
As for me, I am a 48 year old man with terminal cancer, who still works everyday, pays his health insurance and my bills, so I don't leave my wife buried in a mountain of bills she can never pay. Which is called debt.
But Willie, I don't care about this countries debt. It is a nation that is spiritually and morally bankrupt. Why not be financially too? This country will fail, and when it does, a lot of people will sit in wonder, how can that be, what can we just print more money? Because nobody is going to want a piece of paper with dead American Presidents on it that has no value. But that is okay...
And how is to blame, Both parties... Both are parties of greed and control, one under the lie of helping and passionate and other for corp greed. And American, well you are SOL (simply out of luck)...
But, my post was about lies and truth. All I care about is the souls of America, and the Kingdom of God. So Brother, I am not complaining, You can have this world and everything it is, because it is nothing of Heaven. However, I will not sit idle when I see a blatant mis-use of the Holy Word of God.
